I agree with "Maxim". This should be called Lion and the lamb, not Lion and dog. I liked it, but the lamb was hard to do. Nice challenge.

The Lion is just as confused by the other animal as you all are :-)

Despite the common saying, it's the wolf that will lie down with the lamb. The lion is going to be busy eating hay like an ox. (Isaiah, chapter 11.) That doesn't detract from this puzzle though. The lion was easy to spot, but I was very nearly finished before I realized that that wasn't just negative space with him.
