Japanese crossword «Pear»

Pretty uniform, though at first I thought it was a mishapen yellow carrot
replyToo much flat area in my opinion. That's not only simple, it's boring.
replyI don't think I've ever seen a puzzle with a difficulty rating of 1 -- usually even the really simple ones are 1-1/2! Not a bad puzzle, but not special.
replynothing tastes better than a perfectly ripe unblemished pear!
replySort of pointless to have this in color, when it really is just a shape. A little shading would have made it worth adding color.
replyaccurate in the shape and color. I try to remember that "beginner" can apply to the solver OR the creator. I admit I don't always research how many puzzles a given author has before commenting. I agree with Ageleni that to work on shading would be a "next step".

It was readily ap-pear-ant what this was the moment I started it.
I accept that "beginner" can be either creator or solver, and that maturity (age) can also play into the simplicity. That said, I found this puzzle to be more boring than simple but looked decent in completion. My wish would be that the "picture assessment" dropdown could be more effective, curtious, and accurate. This picture is NOT bad or awful, it has validity but not up to normal either.
