Quite hard to get started, but then not bad. I thought it was a dragon boat, then a dragon with a unicorn horn, before looking at the head in a different way as more of the body took shape. Thanks for this great puzzle!

Working from the left, I thought it was a ladybug (although the spots looked off), then a spider, then totally at a loss until nearly done. Fun ride.
