It's not a bad puzzle, and the image is OK. But the colors are way too harsh in contrast. It's a mess to look at for so long; I almost didn't want to finish the puzzle, but I'm a completionist. lol Maybe change up the pallet .. ?

Not at all ugly. I prefer contrasting colours to similar colours.
