excellent. Bastet was the goddess of warfare in lower Egypt - depicted as a cat.

LOL - this took me back a few years - when my daughter was 15 we visited Egypt - she'd been fascinated with ancient history / mythology etc. for years. She wanted to buy a small statue of Sekhmet but this particular goddess was proving difficult to find - finally a shop owner said he had one and promptly handed it to my daughter - she looked at him and calmly stated "This is Bastet not Sekhmet - I want Sekhmet!" The look on his face was priceless. :):).
