Really cute! And for those who can't quite see it - that isn't the sun!

I don't quite understand this picture, but I like it. It was challenging, but within my abilities.

It looks like a big blue egg: you can see where it's cracking as the "Hatching!" begins. But then what are the four white ovoids?

The chicken eggs and the blue one is a dinosaur egg in the wrong nest?

easier than expected. picture is the best from the author.
replyI found the puzzle to be challenging (perhaps more than it should have been), and the solution puzzling. I don't see it, and the comment above about the sun made it even more cryptic. Can anyone who sees the "whole picture" explain in detail please?
replyEven at the end, I thought it was a blond girl (maybe alice in wonderland) leaning over a fence in a field
replyspoiler
I feel like maybe the comment about something not being the sun refers to the yellow part, not the orange. The yellow is a chick. The orange certainly seems to be the sun. I did this puzzle one color at a time and yellow was one of the earlier ones, so I knew it was a chick long before I solved the rest of the puzzle. The comment about a girl leaning over the fence is interesting tho because I do see that now that I try to find it! But I personally felt like the puzzle result was really cute, and I can see the illustration clearly. The large blue egg is cracking open because it’s hatching, while the already-hatched chick investigates. And then the white things are either different eggs or perhaps flower petals, but the idea of a big different egg in the wrong nest (and honestly it looks like probably an Easter egg) is cute! This puzzle was originally posted in April several years ago, so it would have been around Easter.
