How stupid do you have to be to put two shades of red in one picture?
replyNice one. And I think the two reds work fine - after all, there's only one square of the paler red!
replyThe pale red worked just fine - after all, there's only a single square. It's not like some puzzles where two similar shades are constantly beside each other, that's what is hard.
replyYou can do it without the x markers. Red and then slightly less red is a stupid color choice.
replyI don't care if it's one block or fifty, it's still really stupid and inconsiderate of the solvers to put two colors that are so similar in the same puzzle. I didn't even realize they were different colors until I'd messed up and was trying to find how on earth I'd got it wrong.
The pale red should have been pink instead so that it could be easily distinguished.

I don't think I would have noticed the color difference in the reds. Although it totally makes sense now as to why only one error block kept popping up. Lol.
replywow, so much negativity about the color choice. I think the picture is adorable! well done!
replyDon't mind the others who complain about the color, they probably using phone or other smaller devices whereby they can't see the different color choice in the picture. But I do agree with the part where the two red should be separate colors that could be distinguished easily.
Other than that, the picture is adorable, well done :-)

He's beautiful - clever doing a white cat in reverse ! Thanks :)
replyFor those that have issues seeing the different colors...don't you check the color bar before you start? I saw that there were two red colors right away, and looked for the spot. :)

I think it's adorable...a simple puzzle that results in a cute picture is difficult to do, but you pulled it off. I thought it was great!
replyVery clever for a simple puzzle. The single alternative red made a great clue to start with. At least this image really looks like a cat!

Wow, it's one thing to dislike someone's color choices, but the animosity over this is at insane levels. Pull yourselves off the Internet for a bit and relax! Keith is right - give the color bar a quick check before you scroll to start the puzzle; it takes zero effort. I can only agree that the nose could have been a light shade of pink, or the ribbon blue or green. But I don't care how unfair or horrible you think a puzzle is, there is absolutely no excuse for calling people "stupid" or freaking out that hard over someone's creative puzzle on a FREE website. /end rant Beautiful cat. :3

totally agree - stop with the nastiness - if all you have to occupy your time is to post insulting comments then you really need to get out more - arina is one of the most gifted and artistic puzzlers on here - if you had a decent graphics card you'd see that the dark pink and red are totally different colours - complainers - either get a life or move on.
replyAhah :D I forgot to check the color bar before to start and I didn't noticed the different reds on my computer's screen XD By the end, I wondered why it was wrong and I laughed when I got it right!
Anyway the cat is sooooo cute, I love it! And I like the way you used the background to shape it :) Thank you for that great puzzle!

loved the use of color as the background rather than most of the object :) very fun, and adorable. thanks!
reply^ 5 fellharbor - getting so steamed up about one single square of a similar colour, get a life people. Don't criticise others for something you probably couldn't create in a million years!
replyAll these "stupid"s being tossed about. The second red was unnecessary, and if it was important that the nose and the ribbon were different it would have been better to make the pink more pink and less red. But good grief, people! Get a life! (And bone up on your manners.)
replyArina is one of the best. Did anybody stop to think that the ONE less red square can be used as a starting point? Seems to me Arina thinks of those kinds of things in the puzzle design.

Everybody moaning about the one "other" pink/red colour (the nose) - That square, the 1 is in black, the several red squares (the collar), the numbers are in white... pretty obvious to me!! And somebody spoiled before me so I haven't used spoilers :)

Good grief - hope the stressed individuals with a wasted medical degree (or are they just plain rude, obnoxious and arrogant?) have finally recovered from the shock of having one square in a different red. Perhaps if these people stopped playing free puzzles online and got a second job (assuming they have one in the first place) they could afford a screen which enables them to distinguish colours - I need glasses to read yet without my lenses I immediately noticed that there were two red. Invest in some chill pills people and stop insulting and abusing the creators.
