Japanese crossword «Corgi»

Because of the symmetry this is very simple, I would have found it more difficult if I had had to figure it out.

I had to do a lot of guessing, based on Lyndsy's hint, and I personally hate having to do guessing to solve these. YMMV

Really nice picture, and surprisingly tough puzzle for the rating. I think, because of the symmetry, you often 'know' where the colours must go before you can prove it logically.

There are a couple of tricky parts, but I didn't need to do any guessing to finish this. Thanks!

I started pretending the symmetry didn't give some very obvious hints. It was hard. Mid-puzzle I gave up the "this must go here but I can't prove it" approach and filled out the middle zone. Then it became very easy.

This one was a nice challenge to go colour by colour on. You have to either have a good memory or (as I did) mark the empties though.

No guessing required at all.

Great little challenge... have to be disciplined to not cheat and assume symmetry, but it is doable.

This one was oddly challenging for me...perhaps it is just the energy of the morning...the result was very pleasing to me. I wondered why couldn't I figure this out more quickly? could it be because I worked it from the bottom and was expecting a poop meme?
