Welcome, new artist! This is a creative and fun puzzle, but I hope you will take into consideration that when it's hard to tell one colour from another, it makes a puzzle a lot less fun. (I found 3 and 6 nearly indistinguishable from each other, and 1 and 8 were okay once I realized they were different colours. Colours 2 and 7 are a good example of effective shading with tones that are different enough to tell them apart.)

I agree with msat, a fun puzzle but frustrating with little colour differential

I was skeptical of the shading choice of 5-3-6, but when the puzzle was complete I liked the effect.
