Anybody ever do that prank, where you stand on the sidewalk and look up and see who else stares up to see what you are looking at, and you get a whole group of people looking up at nothing? Me either.
There was a version of this joke on a book when I was learning English. A doorman looking up and suddenly a crowd doing the same. Then a person asks the doorman what is going on and he says "I don't know, I woke up this morning with a stiffneck".
