Similar colours are part of the challenge, for me. & they make for great shading & good detail, even in small grids like this one. Great image, thanks

The picture is great. I did struggle a bit distinguishing between colors, but it may be my iPad monitor. Just frustrating when I get an X because I placed the wrong color.

There is an art to using different shades of the same color, they have to be visually distinct. If I swap to a custom palette and the puzzle goes from impossible to easy, then you haven't made something that's a fun challenge and a test of my ability to do the math and solve the puzzle. You're just giving me eye-strain trying to distinguish between four near-identical blues.

Why people are trying to recognize similar colours visually, when you can click the number square you are solving with a right mouse button and select the right colour that way? You can pick that feature from settings.

Sometimes it depends on our monitors for the colours. I had no difficulty with this one. But sometimes the colours across the top of the puzzle are darker than the colours down the side of the puzzle, that would have to be my monitor.

I have greatest trouble with the nearly white colours, I have to pick it colour up each time to make sure.
