You planted them? Here we have only the thorny variety. It is a weed, because of the thorns and because its flowers are ugly. Too diferentes of some I saw in internet, this ones are pretty.

Centaurea cyanus, aka bachelor's button. Definitely pretty, especially in a bouquet. Edible, too. And yes, they attract bees.
