Use drop down menu under choose color by a click on the number. I personally choose right click.

First, I just want to note that this advice isn't needed for this nonogram as my two colors are quite different ;-) That said, what settings gear are you talking about? You talk as if it is a nonograms.org feature (and of logging out, presumably from nonograms.org), but it has no such gear or setting I can find.

You are correct this advice was not necessary for this particular puzzle. When you click on a puzzle there is a gear to the right of the plus and minus signs. That gear takes you to settings. If you log out of nonograms.org the settings reset to default.

replyYeah, strange that the rest of us don't get that feature. I'm not aware of any new features on this site appearing for many years. Could it be available only through certain browsers? I have tried Chrome and Edge on Windows desktop. What are you using?

I am using FireFox. That feature has been available to me since I started in 2019? It shows up after you click on a puzzle to start it? But the settings carry through the rest of the puzzles as long as you don't log out.

Ok, yes, Ageleni got it -- it's the beta version selectable in Settings that has all these options. I agree, using right click to choose color is a HUGE time saver. I thought you were referring to a way to change the colors for more contrast, which they have with the option "Use your palette while solving color crosswords" -- but probably only worth doing for really annoying colors because their default set is pretty bad and it would be a pain to change them. Anyway, I'm glad all these beta options came to light!
