Yes - we don't enjoy the relentless heat of summer plus Europe goes OTT on xmas lights - where we live in Oz it's "spot the tinsel". :):)

The polar vortex crashed our Christmas plans, but being snowed-in with my immediate family turned out to be the best Christmas we've EVER had! (Sorry in-laws.)
There's nothing better than board games by candlelight in your jammies.
