I’m feeling dumb…I don’t understand the title that everyone thinks is so clever? I know this is an older one, but if anyone sees this and wants to explain, I’d be grateful! (The puzzle is fun and pretty on its own, even without understanding the title!)

I also don't understand. The best thing I can think of, is that the puzzle was posted on Christmas Eve, and our bird friend is allowed to run and open a gift early. The author doesn't have a running theme/story in their puzzle library, so that's the best I can come up with.
