Japanese crossword «Lavender»

Picture is ok, but as a puzzle there are too many isolated single blocks, need some long strings of colors to figure out a pattern. Purples worked at first, but the greens were all over the place. Used all my hints, luckily they gave me a whole line.

Without a doubt, this is the most difficult 'small' color puzzle I have ever done. There was really only one way to start, and it was not easy to see. Hunted and picked for a few single blocks before seeing the correct path. And even then, it was a slog from beginning to end. Plenty of times intuition said a certain square 'should' be colored, but I couldn't prove it logically. Took a very long time find any rhythm here. It has been a very long time since I've been tempted to use hints, and I was tempted more than once on this one. Proud to say I didn't use any of the hints and finished without mistakes in 1:14:14.

People are likely going to hate this one. Surprisingly, as someone who normally detests color puzzles that rely on alternating single pixels of different colors, I found this very enjoyable. That said, I will never do this one again!

Zowie! This one was tough. I didn't use any hints, but I did do some trial and error stuff, and I won't admit how long it took me. And I had to leave it and come back to it... But such a pretty picture. Definitely check out the thumbnail.

This is quite challenging for a small puzzle. It is all very logical, no hints or guesses needed. It's quite slow going, though, because often you can only proceed when you find the one solvable square.

Probably the hardest puzzle I've ever done, but a pretty result!

Certainly the hardest one I've ever done, the timer says 3 hours 32 minutes, but the computer slept twice while I was working on it. No hints required, and I was never tempted to give up, because just about the time frustration set in, I saw the next square. Great puzzle all around!

It took me 4 days no hints, no Xs. I believe if you can solve this, you can do any puzzle. Honestly, I don't want to do this level again.

Almost 2 1/2 hours total and I've left and come back a few different days due to frustration! Finally I was able to work something out with colours 4 and 5 in mid to upper right section, and work my way left. Then after completing color 2 the rest fell into place.

this was so hard!

This was ridiculously difficult, as has been noted several times; but the statistics buttons shows the average time to complete was 25 minutes, and the difficulty is rated as 4 out of 5, and neither of those makes any sense.

Very hard but got there in the end after a couple of days pegging away at it.

Its do-able without cheating... just prepare for a couple hours, and for it to be a challenge throughout... great puzzle. Any puzzle this small that is rated a 4/5 is going to be hard...

Doable without hints but it took a lot of time to figure the greens out. It was a challenge!

Not too difficult, never was struggling for too long. Just going slowly one step at a time, very nice
