It's primarily spelled pinguin when doing a sonogram. And it's the correct spelling in many languages.

Just curious, in which part of the world is it spelled pinguin? I’m in America, and on the Wikipedia page on these birds, it is spelled with an ‘e’ after the ‘p’, and it also mentions that the word with an ‘i’ after the ‘p’ is the name of a plant…again, just curious how the rest of the world spells things differently ;-)
