Too many colors that are WAY too similar to be fun!
I had to tilt my screen forward to differentiate between the light colors then backward to see the dark colors. Back and forth. Back and forth. Argh!

The colors were different enough on my screen, and the result is an adorable picture. The art style reminds me of the video game Stardew Valley.

Because SV use pixel art for it's game art style and many other games too. This are from the early game development, before more advance game technology developed
replyI miss some assesment level for the color use so I rank the picture as bad. Too many shades, too close to each other to add an additional value to the result. I think about skipping an author for the first time here, unless he/she takes the feedback and improves.

I wouldn't rank this picture bad, but I agree. Too many similar colors in a small space do not create the shading effect you get in larger puzzles. Just makes a multi-colored mess.

I struggled with the colours, not only because they were similar, but also because some of them were so light that I wasn't sure if I had marked a square or not. Nonetheless, it didn't take away the pleasure, and the picture really is cute. I would have felt differently if this had been a bigger and more difficult puzzle.
replyi do appreciate the idea of shading BUT this was too much for this size of puzzle and didn't add anything to the final product. became more irritating than enjoyable. I also wish there was a better discriptive way to catagorize the picture rating.

Then don't do them! Just press exit. The author's done a fantastic job for those of us who Particularly search for subtle. I think it incredibly rude to insult an authors work simply because YOU prefer differently. So glad the most damage people like this can do is put a poor rating. People like me search these ones out. All have different preferences, mine and some others the opposite of yours. It's nasty as well. You've done a pretty good job describing your assessment of the puzzle - nothing more or less than "I - me, me ,me - don't like these ones, therefore the puzzle is bad". Go moan somewhere else please man. What a grump!
I LOVE these ones. Thank you to the author, this one's a stunner. "For more sophisticated puzzlers" :P

I disagree with most of the above comments. Love the shading detail!!
Choose the left click to pick the color, makes life much easier in these puzzles, and lets the creators use their full spectrum. Thank you for the beautiful picture!!

I'm with ndhHardy on this. I love more subtle, gradual shading. There's an abundance of high-contrast puzzles for those who prefer that effect. To me, sometimes, I want a little more than the colouring-in book effect. Thanks to Author, much appreciated. Going to have a look at others from this author.
replyI don't know if it was just my eyes or computer, but those hues are WAY too light. There were a couple places where the row wouldn't cross out b/c I couldn't figure out what squares already had "white beige" in it or if it was still just the white background. Cute picture in the end, but I def would have done darker shades in the very least. The hues being so close together I can manage on smaller puzzles like this, but I could not see that "white beige".
