Another wonderful rendition of the subject marred by lackluster fill. I understand that the color nonograms are geared more toward the artistry of the image and not the quality of the puzzle, but puzzles like these make me wonder if the artists actually bother to do their puzzles before submitting. When the only challenge a puzzle offers is counting the rows to see if they can be filled in completely with no other logic needed, that's a shine of poor craftsmanship. Regardless of how pretty an image is, failing to consider if the other side of the equation is any good feels insulting as a solver.
And yes, this puzzle can be solved 100% by only filling in rows and columns that naturally span the entire available grid. Rows: 5,6,4,7. Columns 7,6,8,5,9,10,4,3,11,12,13 in that order. At no point is a solver forced to actually use logic in a logic puzzle. How sad.

Go and tell this to Ken Sugimori who designed the first 151 Pokemon. This Sprite is from Pokemon Sun & Moon exactly the same as done in the games. It's spot on and looks just the way it should.

So what you’re saying is that the creator of this puzzle used a trademarked image without permission? I’m sure Sugimori-san would be more interested in that than my opinion of the puzzle. I also had only had good things to say about the image, it was the logical solve of the puzzle I took to task. Sugimori-san wasn’t designing nonograms when he created the Pokémon designs, so your entire comment is irrelevant.

Yup, you are correct, this image was lifted directly from the games it comes from, down to the exact pixel (they are used as a small image in menus). While I like game references, I too would like to see creators making new things instead copy pasting existing sprites exactly.
Basically speaking, I'd rather see original nonograms over sprites taken directly from games, even though I enjoy video games. There's no creativity in copying someone else's work in this manner, and would be frowned upon in a greater fashion if someone did that to someone else's nonogram directly, for example.
