Your animals are always enjoyable to do and the pictures are amazing. Thank you
replyI would preferred yellow instead of rose, but is very nice and great picture!
replyShe's gorgeous and looks curious - love the colours.
replyWow, this is amazing. One of the best finished puzzles I have seen.
replyBest one of these I have seen in a long while, and REALLY fun to do! great job!
replyWhat could have easily been another symmetrical portrait is elevated by additional details and small tweaks. Both changes from the norm help to create a puzzle that is very enjoyable to solve. Not terribly difficult, but for a puzzle like this, those little wrinkles to the standard formula lead to some entertaining moments. The grid space is used to great effect, keeping any row or column from spanning edge-to-edge and finishing with a nice little logical challenge on either side.
There's no denying Elliese has a knack for their preferred theme. This puzzle might be the best of the lot, for mostly the same reasons that it was a better solve. By adding something other than a face, they create an image that is more evocative of the subject. The color palette is spot on, and the realistic approach gives a satisfying payoff.

Nice picture, but too much symmetry makes it a bit boring
replyWorking from the bottom up and using my own palette I was thinking for most of the puzzle that it was an insect--probably a praying mantis.
