Found this one kind of meditative to complete... Interesting in its own way...
replyInteresting, for some of the puzzle, the clues and the puzzle line up perfectly, just transpose them
replyThis puzzle exemplifies everything wrong with color nonograms. This is a puzzle that puts the image ahead of the puzzle itself. There is little to no actual solving to be had here. Two complete columns start the puzzle off, and from there it mostly fills itself in. And by 'fills itself in' I mean a tedious alternating pattern of single pixels that requires zero skill or logical reasoning to complete. While the pattern may be 'satisfying' to some, it isn't a puzzle in my book.
This image itself is pretty and well-made. It's obvious the constructor is a good artist. But nonograms aren't simply about a pretty solution. The journey there is just as important, and this journey was a mind-numbing slog. Thankfully, the other puzzles naomiH has created in this series are better if still image--rather than puzzle--focused.
