Much like the first puzzle in this series, the quality of the solve is impeccable. Too many color puzzles rely on large swatches of color mixed with single pixels of complimentary hues and white to give the illusion of depth. Such a technique can produce a pretty image but a puzzle that is tedious to solve. Not the case with Small-boss' latest offerings. Well-placed negative space and a shaded border create a puzzle that is challenging but rewarding. Individual mileage will vary with the color palette, but when the colors add to a puzzle's complexity while also creating a beautiful image, it's hard to complain.
As stated, the final image is wonderful. Even for those not familiar with the fandom this comes from can appreciate the shading and depth Small-boss is able to create. I appreciate seeing his talents in puzzles of this size.
Overall: Excellent puzzle

Isn't it sad that many people jump to the conclusion that "boss" = "man"
I am a sister "small-boss" and have spent my life battling that assumption.
Time's are changing, but oh so slowly.

You know what they say about one who assumes. It makes an ‘ass’ of ‘u’ and ‘me.’ In this case it wasn’t because of her username, but because of a form of subliminal typecasting. I am male. Unless I stop and consider other possibilities, I immediately assume anyone whose identity is completely anonymous is also male. Same goes for race, ethnicity, religion, etc. Just because this is at a subliminal level does not make it excusable. I make a conscious effort to either use they or s/he, but I’m not perfect. I’m certainly not above admitting when I’m wrong and correcting any misusage going forward. You’re correct that change is happening, slowly. I try to be part of that change, and in the event I screw up, I learn from it. Great comment to draw attention to this issue!

Thank you both for your discussion of gender assumptions. However, as a female (who usually does remember not to assume gender) I also assumed that small-boss is male I think because of the 'boss' part of the name. Hmmm... Speaking only for myself,I guess we can all keep on working on our gender/racial/cultural assumptions.
