cute! but those two yellow colors were a little similar

: ) The two yellows are tough to distinguish. I thought it was a cartoon character.

Because it's in McDonald's package, does that mean it's called fries? I guess they have Mickey Dee's in Britain too.
It would be a good puzzle except for the fact that it has two near-identical yellows. People have different screens and for some people it can be really hard to distinguish similar colors, so you shouldn't use colors that are so close to each other. The annoyance while solving isn't worth the tiny bit of shading you get from it in the final image, and I don't think higher contrast would have hurt that either.
Since this site doesn't let you rate how much you like/enjoyed solving a puzzle, I rate any picture with difficult to distinguish colors as awful. It would be better if there was another rating so I could be more accurate in what I disliked about it, but it is what it is.

I like the darker yellow as shading, fun puzzle, thanks will rate high to help with the negative person above

I agree with babsghia. Love the extra shading, makes it much more challenging for such a small puzzle.

HATED the added difficulty. Difficulty is these puzzles should be because the logic is challenging, not visually determining what the clues even are. These yellows are so close that I didn't realize there were two different yellow colors until I tried to solve the fourth line from the top. It appeared to need 16 squares in a 15x15 puzzle. I almost closed it as "impossible" until I noticed the color bar at the top.
replyalthough I agree the yellows were very close, it did add to the depth of the picture that would otherwise been very simplistic. The limited, and logical use made it tolerable.
replyI ranked this picture bad because the two shades of yelow do not have any sense in this.
replyAmerican here, I thought this was a character from some cartoon as a lot of them have been on recently and I do not know them. It was only looking at the thumbnail that I realized Chips was not a name, just the British way of saying fries. That's funny.

This is certainly not the first of its kind, and it probably won't be the last.
replythe two yellows were difficult, like others have mentioned, but I just made sure to click the yellow in the grid before placing it in the puzzle so I knew I was getting the right one.
