Great picture, but tbh I was on autopilot after I got the basic framework. I guess it's for newer players to figure out the patterns.

I agree. After a few of these the pattern becomes very recognizable.

I dunno... I found it a lot more pleasing to do than those puzzles where you have to go pixel by pixel to determine which colour goes in. The variations in the patterns keep me sufficiently on my toes, but maybe I'm not as smart as the rest of you. :)
