There's so much irony here in the fact that doing the puzzle itself is a color blindness test.

Well that's certainly unique, and quite cruel to colorblind people!
replyIf I say it shows a Lucky number, will that convince you that I am not colourblind?
replyagree, there is a lucky number in there. thought it was a pop socket for a phone at first :)

What a clever idea. I guess I pass with flying colors ;)
This was very intricate for a small puzzle but the result is amazing!
replyMindscrub making color puzzles? what is next, tele transportation?

I laughed out loud when I finished it and saw the title. We have a beautiful old set of these at my work (I'm a GP - family physician. I've mostly used these for pre-employment medical checks. Not sure about the other doctors)
One of my favourite things is this "Hidden digit design: Only colorblind people are able to spot the sign. If you have perfect color vision, you won’t be able to see it."

I've taken the tests before (I have one bad eye). This is the first I've heard of the reverse test! Recalling the first test I took that demonstrated I was fully colour-blind, I think having some reverse options in the mix would have made that experience a lot less shocking and traumatic.
replyThanks for the comment. I never imagined that color-blindness had a unified trait, and that could be verified on top of it.
replyOh my gosh, what a great idea! And I didn't know what they were named before, either. :)
replyThis was so pleasant, and such a lovely, clever result. I really liked this one, thank you so much for your efforts.
replyDid this in blackandwhite mode on my phone (turns on automatically at night) and facepalmed when I solved it, read the title and realised why it'd been so difficult.
replywhat an interesting subject for this kind of puzzle! I thought the colors were unusual when i first opened the puzzle, and now i understand why. all the comments, too--it certainly got a response from lots of people!
replyI nearly needed my eyes tested after this. Good one.
replyThis would be such an interesting way to figure out you were colorblind.
replyThis is a great idea and it’s done perfectly. But all the 111-1221 for however many squares gets me frustrated. Still absolutely perfect and the colors too. Thanks Andrea

Love it! Came upon this one trying to meet mindscrub's challenge to complete all 500+ of his puzzles. I actually am colorblind and managed to pull this one off with some difficulty, but couldn't have done it without WhatColor freeware app ( https://www.hikarun.com/e/ ). "Salmon" (2nd from left in the palette) and "Dark Sea Green" (2nd from right) are almost indistinguishable to my eyes.
Sooo ... what's the resulting picture or figure?

Very funny shirt... I'm glad you managed to solve it! At least most of my puzzles are black and white!

This would have been impossible for me without the WhatColor app I’ve referred to elsewhere. The color selection trick that TNG pointed out recently is also very helpful.

This is a fascinating idea! Well done, mindscrub!

I can only imagine the struggles that a person who fails a color blindness test would have on *this* website.
Very nice and I loved solving It!

After the obligatory first page cherry red/Kelly green, I completely fail these. And it's not that I'm colorblind exactly, It's that I say to myself, "Now do I continue the red dots with the pink ones to make a zero, or with the orange ones to make a six?" And by that time they've marked me down as hopeless and moved on to the next page. It's true that I'd likely have chosen the wrong answer, but tell me the right answer and I can see it. I have an anecdote about my sister, a library book, and a kitchen chair; but it's too long to go into here.
