I like to do these small ones without using Xs. This was a nice challenge that way.

Glad to see others found this tricky. I figured I was just trying to solve it too late at night...

this was harder than I expected it to be
Was anyone able to solve this with pure logic? I couldn't - I had to use some trial and error.

Yes. It is not that hard once you logically come up with the only possible 2 patterns for the grey and yellow layout at the bottom and their common implications on the layout of other tiles.

brute forcing isn't logical. if you have to try different solutions to find the one that works, the puzzle is broken.

Once I found the obviously empty and red squares, it helped to think about where the purple squares should be in the third column from the right. Or, rather, where they can't be.

I get the hint by observing the yellows in the right. The yellows also serve as a limit to block the purple at the top. I only need to run two different scenarios, whether there are three purples at the top rows or two purples
Not as easy as expected, nice!
cute!!
Wow that was super tricky. Figured it out logically after some thinking. Definitely have to jump around a bit. :) Thanks for the challenge!

This one is super hard as far as color puzzles go. You don't need to use illogical brute force methods or guessing. Just remember to apply your advanced puzzle techniques and make sure not to miss any spot where those would apply.

It was very hard for me to find the solution logically, but I did it! So proud of myself after I read the comments
