That aspect did indeed make it somewhat tedious but I suppose it served an artistic purpose :-D Would've made it hard to guess where I'd gone wrong if I hadn't managed to solve the puzzle, though …

this was the most tedious puzzle I've ever solved. I got bored of counting so many times. It isn't an unsolvable puzzle, just meticolous, fastidious mosaeic work. However, the result is spectacular, especially for such a small puzzle. Great job, author. Thank you for the picture
