Nice enough, but the palest colours are so close to the background colour that I can't actually tell them apart, and it makes it tricky to put them in and spoils the final image because there;s no clear line between the shape and the unused squares.

Yes. I lost track of which of the squares meant to be white I had already filled in. I had to "erase" them all by filling them in with another color (I used blue) and then paint them white again in order to have the solution accepted.

The palest color is difficult to see differentiate from the background, but it works ok if you do one color at a time and do the white last
