replyHoly #$%^, this was the single hardest nonogram I have EVER played. At one point I got so frustrated I hit the "hint" button - and had to spend 15 minutes just figuring out why that one square should be black. The whole thing took 3 hours.

replythis puzzle went from a 35x35 to like a 20x15 in half an hour. Then I was reminded why I don't like colour puzzles. Thanks anyway for the great challenge. Had to use hints, though I would't call them so this time
replyI agree with gutless; this started soooo easy, then suddenly began to deserve the difficulty rating. No guesswork was required, hard as that might have been to believe on occasion. And *very* cute picture. I had guessed it completely wrong, till I happened to be walking back to my computer and saw it from an angle. Suddenly it was clear -- but when I sat in directly front of the screen it still looked like the other guess. :-)

Just completed it again, because I enjoyed the challenge. Still tricky, but absolutely no hints or guesswork required. Stick with it, it is so satisfying!
For me the break came with solving the 9 black block in column 8 from the right- in column 7 there are 2 blocks of 3 black going across which helped (needed to think about it for a while).
