Agreed. As a violinist, I'm sorry to say only the middle eighth-note pair is recognizable as a note without the aid of the others(or the title). Fun solve, just could've used a few more squares here and there. Ex. If you change square 3,5 to pink, then remove every pink square to the left of it and repair the black border, it fixes that note and generally improves the puzzle.
