Every puzzle on the site is confirmed to be solvable by logic alone, they run them through an automated solver to check. If even a single pixel cannot be placed by logic, the puzzle is rejected and must be resubmitted.

The shading is far more difficult than the puzzle. Picture doesn't require this.
