Japanese crossword «Smash Ultimate 01»
Size: 200x200 | Picture: | Difficulty: | Added: | 12.11.18 | Author: 720Ultrasmasher |
Actually, the only difficulty lies in the size.
Puzzle itself is very easy.
And this kept me busy for long ;-)

Thanks
This puzzle was very very easy.
It was huge and annoying laggy. Not worth the time to complete for the simplicity of the picture.
Otherwise it was an okay puzzle.

Completed over the course of several days. Thanks for a fun challenge!
replyI'm glad someone wasted time creating bigger puzzles.
Maybe the page should have another section for these sizes, where to anchor the sides and the center is a frame for example, or the sides as well as above and to the left, are on the right and below as well. Because no matter how big the monitor is, it is really heavy having to scroll thousands of times, it gets dizzy.
The image is certainly very simple, however, given the difficulties I have related, a large puzzle with a complicated image could be authentically schizoid.

The First one to understand!!! (This is a joke).
replyWow, that was a lot. Would've been a bit more of a challenge if the gray parts were white, but fun!

And I can also explain you why. The puzzle would be *technically* impossible to solve, because it would contain the 2x2 nonogram with exactly one 1 on each of the rows/columns as a subproblem. But already this is impossible to solve as there are 2 solutions.

What's the second solution? Using only logic, I never got stuck.

Per se not a challenge, but the size was! Wonderful image, was fun to complete.
replyspoiler
Wow! Took me 7:01:30 over multiple sittings. Starting the right hand was a fun final challenge
O.K., I think that solving a 200 x 200 nonogram, with numbers only on top and left side, drawing long lines consisting of over 100 pixels, is a challenge for sure.
Respect to anyone who accomplished (or will do it) this, as well as to the author.
But ..., this picture under proper resolution, I think it could fit perfectly to a grid area about 16 to 25 times reduced. There is no reason to exaggerate, just to create a big grid picture.
And there were no elements of puzzle. Just long one-colour line fragments and big compact uniformly coloured regions, attached one another. Some of them, depending on the colour, are tedious for the eyes and create various sentiments, after some time.
I think pictures above 120 pixels per dimension, acquire a totally different implementation approach and pictures of proper resolution and colour distribution.
Thank you.

Yeah I like making nonograms where as the size increases, the difficulty decreases so the puzzle is still possible
Thanks for the feedback though, I'll try to make my next big one actually challenging

It was fun, but scrolling back and forth to read the numbers was difficult and frustrating at time.
replyI love challengs and big nonograms but I just would like to have a easier way to change colours while you are playing it.

They are easy but it is also very easy to get the wrong line or column from moving the screen from top to bottom and from right to left. Please look for a way to make easier when you have to change colour. Thanks.
replyI love this a lot but you could make it smaller if its too big i have to do 1 at a time bc im on mobile
replyCompleted through multiple sittings taking 11 hours and 53 minutes.
TIPS if you decide to try this puzzle:
-stretch across multiple monitors to eliminate/reduce scrolling.
-in the settings option (click the gear icon at upper right corner of puzzle), under 'Management' select "Classic with choosing color by click on number". This lets you just click on the color on side or top, and eliminates/reduces scrolling.
-Use 'X's to identify open space.
-Work the puzzle from bottom to top, and right to left. This helps to reduce scrolling over time.
-Take breaks. Come back in a day or two. Only a Schizo would attempt this in one sitting!

tough because its SO ENORMOUS!!! but excellent final product!
replyThe puzzle it self was not difficult, the size is what made it challenging.
