Tricky, and more difficult than I thought!

I agree. In thought the rainbow of colours would make it easier than it was. Good one.

Ditto. This was a tough one! I resorted to guessing the outline and shine because it was getting a little tedious for me. But it's actually a really pretty outcome.

Well, I've started it thinking "ok, it will be the usual rainbow as colors and disposition are suggesting". I have been very surprised by the result and the overall difficulty. Really good.

Nothing personal, but this is colour puzzle x that has way to many colours of which I can not tell some apart and I personally think you could have made a more beautiful puzzle with just 3 or 4 colours. From now on I am going to let my annoyance enter my rating of the puzzle to downgrade it in those cases. If I encounter many more of those I'll just stick to BW in the future. It's not against you, it's just the last drop, sorry

And The colors are still a matter of screen settings. The orange/reds are very distinguable on mine! ;)

I made more mistakes than I thought I would; after nearly wiping the puzzle to start over, I realized I was marking the wrong red. I liked the outcome though.

I actually didn't think it was that difficult, as the general shape became predictable once enough was filled in. Looks cool though!

Sadly, this is identical to puzzle #12494 which I just worked yesterday. Only the colors are different but everything else is the same.

I like it -- the rainbow colors make it different from others. I got called away the first time I was working on it and so had an abysmal time. Decided to try it again, starting from the middle where more clues exist, and finished in 9:19. Fun!

Definitely an odd choice of colors. As a gem dealer, my reality is jarred knowing that there doesn't exist a gem that looks anything like this. Had it been more monochromatic, it would have made more sense. (That being said, I am still glad it didn't turn out to be a rainbow.)

You know what's really fun? Trying to do all the black before filling in any of the colors. It's possible, but takes a lot of patience. I guess I just like making things harder for myself, but it sure is fun! Thanks for the puzzle.
