I don't agree with Corpore that it's boring to solve - the fiddly solving is the price to pay for the subtle picture. That's dxh's style - if you find dxh's puzzles boring to solve, leave them for those of who love them!
replyI agree with David - It's the color changes that make the picture so interesting.
replyI'm a dxh fan! I love shading! I also amuse myself by trying to figure out how many different places I can put a color before switching or confusing myself. I was rather worried that this picture was going to be a super-healthy dessert. I am relieved!
replyI love the shading. It makes it challenging and pretty at the same time. Great picture.

It's very easy to solve, but kudos on the colors, even with 4 greens you managed to get them sufficiently contrasting that it was possible to differentiate them.
You can solve the whole thing by only using the rows and then narrowing the fields by crossing out the outermost rows. Row 8-10, 12-14 describe the whole row, then column 1 and 14 are filled in, rinse and repeat.

So much easier when you can click on the numbers in the side to select that color. change this in the settings option. Prior to this I found these multi-similar color puzzles tedious. This one was fun and easy.
replyCactus with blossom on top?
I love the picture and the puzzle!

Really pretty thumbnail! So glad I found out about clicking on the number to get the colour, because otherwise I never would have made it through the greens. Found this a little like painting by numbers, but the results are worth it. :)
