No guessing here either. Lovely quick little puzzle.
replyNo guessing but some of the steps require careful calculations.
replyGuessing is not needed though at one point I did think that would be necessary. I usually like to do puzzles without using "X"es, but I did need to use them for this one.
replyI can't see the marks for 5, 10, 15 squares. Can anyone else see them anymore?

If you rush through it, you may find yourself guessing. I went at a steady pace and found it interesting and fun. No guessing here either.
replyMy friends, the most challenging nonograms I have done *required* trial and error to find the combination of black squares at a margin that would result in a solution (these were black and white--obviously on another site). It is not called "guessing." The use of x's is expected for solving nonograms. It is part of the logic. It's like bluffing in poker: it's part of what makes it a Japanese crossword.
replyEliminate the blanks with X's and use logic to deduce the correct color position. No guessing needed if you go line by line.
replyYou can tell the species and almost the variety. Rather challenging, not excessively.
replyI'm not seeing what has led so many to believe this is a challenging puzzle. I did not find it challenging in the slightest, especially since there is a column of 16 and a column of 10.
Nice puzzle, though!
