Working from the bottom up, I knew fairly early it was a frog; but when I got to row 8 I foolishly thought the two black squares were the eyes.
**abrupt change of subject**
I spend time on a site with a completely different sort of puzzle. Just before I came here to do this, the last puzzle I saw back there was called "Kermit".

It would have to be jigsawplanet. I no longer remember Kermit, but it's the only other puzzle site I frequent.
