I think the online translation is to blame. 'Dormouse' is probably equivalent to what we'd call a 'sleepyhead' in English in whatever language the original is. Nice puzzle, though, had me guessing for quite a while.

This was a tricky one and I couldn't tell what it was 'til I looked at it in thumbnail view - very clever picture. Think you're right - dormouse must be a slightly off automated translation from something like sleepyhead

"Dormouse" is English for the French word "loir". I wonder if there is an equivalent idiom in Russian of the French "dormir comme loir" which literally means "to sleep like a dormouse" which means (as you probably guessed already) "to sleep like a log" :D We also say "dormir comme une marmotte", "to sleep like a marmot/groundhog" ^u^
Anyway, I'm curious now XD I'm gonna make some research, hehe!
