So cute, loved figuring this one out!

I did the black last, and the colors up until that point were magnificent. The delicate form was emerging, and the colors gave the impression of a soft sea foam. I felt that the black ruined the entire picture. It was too heavy. Perhaps if this had been set on a dark ocean-blue background, the form would have been retained that delicacy. Or if the image had been larger overall, so that the black would have been so cumbersome. Or perhaps a few spots of black to give the slightest hint of an outline.
