There's a lot going on this picture, which I think takes away from its aesthetic. Looks like an apple tree, a worm, an apple, and a fence? Might've been better just the apple and the tree, given the intent with the name (as Elaine said, sounds like it's referencing the apple-tree adage).
replyi think the fence is there for perspective, so you can see that tree is far behind the apple. but i agree it's too small picture for all of that.

I think it is very good! The fence, progressively smaller and inward, creates distance. Then the worm and apple nearer and larger, creating a foreground. Great use of small space!
