I see the chandelier, but why the space in the thing that's supposed to be holding it up?

What is with the gap in the middle and the lack of symmetry?

I personally dislike symmetric pictures, makes it boring. This was good and decent difficulty

I didn't like solving this one but the pic is recognizable. The omitted dot can be added without making it unsolvable by the way.
