There are about 7,000 small black and white puzzles on this site. You can just skip the symmetrical ones.

I don't care for the symmetrical puzzles so much either, but I never remember to check and don't realize it until I'm already into it. But you're right, the option is there.

I just used the search function and there's a symmetry slider right in there. This puzzle shows up for grams between 99 and 100% symmetrical, but not 100% symmetrical. I imagine anything 80% or below would be fine.
Personally, I find symmetrical puzzles to be a little repetitive, and so I prefer an asymmetrical one, but the joy is always about the slow reveal of the subject matter, and so that doesn't matter.

So good! And if you haven’t checked out the book yet, it is totally worth a read. As happens with most screenplays, there is so much more to this world than they could put in the movie! The original even has green colored text for our world and red colored text for the other. Thank you for such a fun solve!
