Man, this took me ages! Either I was really messed up tonight or this puzzle is a lot harder than rated.

It looks like a puffin. (Maybe it is...)

I think they're those glasses that old-time fighter pilots used to wear, like Snoopy fighting the Red Baron. He has the scarf too, which works.

Best way to get a bird's-eye view.
