Japanese crossword «Gigey»

Certainly had to google this one, and not completely clear what this is! It says medical bowl, but why and what for and what are the letters? I enjoyed doing however and thank you.

The Russian by the side is Гигея, which it looks like the author translated to English as "Gigey". I think this is the Russian transliteration of the name of the Greek goddess "Hygieia", the goddess of health. (From whom we get the word "hygiene".
