I agree with Nikki, assuming the title is meant to imply the exceedingly common housefly, it's a bit too square. A housefly's profile is long and narrow. Looked more like Psychodidae, i.e. drain fly.

I am with you. I have an electronic fly swatter and I love it every time it snaps.

The first summer I have an income again, I'm getting one of those AND a Bug-a-Salt 3.0. I don't get that many bugs in my one-room apartment, but I had major spinal surgery last March and over the summer I got so frustrated with how rarely bugs settled within swatter-range of me. I want to be able to off them from across the room or any time they dare to buzz nearby.

Thanks for the info on Bug-a-salt. Now I think I need one.
replyHard to see the image, even when it was done, but such fun to solve! I will look up bug-a-salt, too! remember though, (here's the gardener in me) that flies serve their purposes in the natural world. Qe don't need to have a kill-them-all attitude, as scavengers are needed too.
