When writing on international websites, you should take care when and how you use the phrase "tossed off."
Let's just say, in the UK, there is a reason that a "tosser" is the same basic thing as a "wanker."

Yes, I'm aware of that usage; but only when reading it--it would never occur to me while writing or speaking. (Besides which I can't--even with my dirty-old-man's mind (honed to perfection over the years)--imagine a way to toss off either a puzzle or its subject.)
