Sometimes symmetry helps if the puzzle is tough? But, I don't use knowledge when doing the puzzle. I never use visual logic.

Same here - and in fact I think someone should make a puzzle that seems like it's symmetrical but isn't! (This one had a few asymmetrical spots just to keep us on our toes.)
