I can always count on you to horse around. Does that mean joking on your side of the pond? You know the side that lost the war oh so long ago. BTW what do you call that war over there? We call in the Revolutionary war or the war for Independence, which we will be celebrating today...just sayin' :D

Yes - horsing around / horseplay means joking here.

The other thing kicked off after 340 chests of finest Yorkshire tea were dumped into the sea in Boston, Lincolnshire.

Funny how a lot of towns & cities on both sides of the ocean share the same names - although I don't think that you have a Hebden Bridge!

Back to Independence Day - released on the 4th July 1996 & celebrated every year since.

Must be a great film - bestowing an annual holiday on a whole nation!

Good puzzle. Nice image, the jokey it's reflex very well the movement of a race! But, (I'm trying to do a constructive comment) the horse nevertheless it's very well done, don't seems to be running.

glorifying animal cruelty is not ok. Every race at least one horse gets shot just because of a minor injury and you seem to think that's ok... shame on you!

Don't know where in the world you are but here in the uk, most of the big races especially those with jumps end with at least one horse being put to sleep for having an injury or fall.
