Okay, to clarify, 59 kg, but I thought pounds would be less confusing for you. ;-)

The American way of expressing someone's weight in pounds is actually very confusing to me!
In the UK we such express weight in stones and pounds - I weigh 12st 6lbs. I can calculate this to 174lbs (12 x 14 + 6) - but if someone told me that they weighed 174lbs (or 130lbs) - I wouldn't have a clue without doing the maths!
Your 59kg was supposed to clarify (thanks for that) - it didn't - I have to look up the conversion factor!!!
Your thing weighs 9st 4lbs - that I can visualise and my - that's big!!!

As a Canuck, I'm somewhat bilingual when it comes to pounds and kg. But stones?? Base 14? Yeah... so easy to visualize. No calculations needed at all!
And indeed my thing was big... and cost me a lot of money as well.
Haven't seen you in awhile. Good to have you back.

Imperial weights might seem confusing compared to metric where everything is done is done in 10s, 100s & 1000s (as in grams to kg).
When I was at primary school we had to add the weights of 2 objects together such as:
1 ton, 4 cwt, 3 stone, 11 lbs, 12 oz
3 ton, 16 cwt, 5 stone, 3 lbs, 5 oz
Ounces in base 16 (16 oz in a pound [lb]}
Pounds in base 14 (14 lbs in a stone)
Stones in base 8 (8 st in a hundredweight [cwt])
Cwt in base 20 (20 cwt in a ton).
Oh school was so much fun!

maybe author meant guard dog? Not quite sure what guard is, but it definitely looked like a photo of a dog in front of a house, or a cow being abducted by aliens
