Without Xs??? Well a sincere “hats off” to you! I consider myself fairly good at nonogram solving but I did not have the patience to do this one without Xs. Even with Xs, it still took me 48:48.

replyAs a puzzle I really enjoyed solving this. I needed xs very much and I could usually only find one move to make and it often took me a while to find it. But I never got truly stuck. I'm not thrilled about the result, though. It seems to me that if I'm going to spend almost half an hour of my life on a nonogram, I want the result to be something natural, like an animal, a plant, or a landscape. Or a person. It IS an excellent picture of what it is. I may be influenced by the fact that this item, once loved, is now forbidden to me.
