replyI've played piano for 55 years, used to play sax and clarinet, and trying to learn guitar but I hate to cut my nails LOL

I tried the guitar many times and could never get past the sore fingertip stage. Mr. Wonderful, however plays very well.

I’ve played violin for 6 years and I want to learn cello.
replyRetired professional symphony bassist; have played piano for 55 years and taught students here and there for most of that; "use" guitar, which I learned when I trained as a music therapist, which I did for a bunch of years; dabbled with recorder and viola da gamba; played percussion in local amateur orchestra, specializing in cymbals *grin*; have sold my bass and now play (and teach) cello, but I don't practise enough to play cello at a professional level. And all this reminds me... I'd better call the piano tuner sooner rather than later!

I used to play the piano (classical and ragtime) but am so beyond rusty that I don't know if I could ever get it back. My mom is 90 and still plays beautifully!
